As in previous years, the Queen Silvia Concert Hall and Lilla Akademien are taking part in the 2026 Stockholm Jazz Festival. In addition, we are thrilled to announce that Lars Jansson – one of Sweden’s foremost jazz pianists – is this autumn’s Artist-in-Residence!
 
Lars Jansson is Denmark’s first-ever Professor of Jazz, teaching at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. He is also a touring musician, composer and arranger. Lars will collaborate with Lilla Akademien’s jazz programme in an inspiring week of workshops, rehearsals and lectures. The residency culminates in a grand concert at the Queen Silvia Concert Hall.
