We are proud to announce that the Queen Silvia Concert Hall is the recipient of the prestigious Nordic Lighting Design Award 2024! On Lysets dag, November 13th, the winner was announced after close observation and testing by the committee. In the motivation for the Queen Silvia Concert hall as the winner, special emphasis was put on how the lighting does not disturb the excellent acoustics of the hall. The jury was also impressed with how the lighting designers, on a very low budget, have managed to create a user-friendly system which enhances the architecture of the hall while meeting the high demands on acoustics and flexibility of the space...
